Greetings USLOA Members & Friends!
The Union of St Lucian Overseas Associations (USLOA) regrets to announce that its 2020 Convention hosted by the St. Lucia Calgary Cultural Association (SLCCA) from July 5th – July 12th in Calgary, Canada, will be postponed until a later date in 2021. This decision has been made as a result of the safety concerns around the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic facing the world.
After careful deliberation, there was no acceptable path forward that would mitigate the risk enough to protect our community and USLOA members. Please know The USLOA is committed to protecting the health and safety of our membership. I know this can feel concerning, given the amount of media coverage we are seeing lately.
While we are disappointed that the 2020 USLOA Conference has been cancelled because of the COVID-19 global pandemic. We are thrilled to announce the USLOA Conference has been rescheduled to a later date in 2021. Registered Delegates/Guests will receive a refund for the paid portion of the conference or a credit toward the 2021 Conference.
Trust we will take the best course of action for our community, however we require your patience as the situation is continuously evolving.
